Mary Jane has been helping her clients become financially responsible since 1992.
In order to be financially responsible, a written plan is essential, says Mary Jane. This provides a tangible standard to work towards. In order to reach a target you need to know what that target is and have a plan of action on how to get there. A written financial plan and a cash flow budget are key ingredients for the success of all families regardless of their financial status. With these properly in place, at the end of the month you know exactly where you are, financially, and you will be in control of your financial future.
Mary Jane believes the first 10% earned should be given away in order to help those who are less fortunate than you. The next 10% should be saved for retirement. The rest is yours to spend on maintaining a lifestyle within your means. This is good stewardship of your money. Spending more than 100% of your income each month is never a good idea.
Saving for retirement is essential for your financial independence. No one wants to be dependent on others or left destitute. Mary Jane’s willingness to help you get on the right track is her first priority. She wants and maintains long term relationships with her clients. As a Certified Financial Planner, she is committed to the planning process and making it work to suit her client’s individual needs. She wants to help you make what you want to happen, happen.
